Robert died on April 23, 1971 in Viet Nam in an explosion. He was a good wrestler. His nickname was "rubber man". He had a big smile, and an even bigger heart, and a great sense of humor.
I remember Bob quite well. We had quite a few classes together. He always had me laughing, and I was the one who was always blamed for the disruptions, although I wasn't always innocent. I was really looking forward to seeing him when I attended the 5 year reunion, too. He died honorably and I will NEVER forget him. He had the biggest smile I had ever seen.
