Douglas W. Honard, age 58, of Millcreek, died Friday, July 20, 2007. He was born in Erie, May 26, 1949, son of the late Charles E. and Eleanor B. Miller Honard.
Doug was a 1967 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and he also attended Gannon University.
He was employed as a sheet metal worker for Rabe Environmental Systems from 1977 to 2000. He was an avid pool player and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Doug is survived by two sons, Christopher W. Honard and his wife, Melissa, of Grantville, Pa. and Robert J. Honard of Texas; two grandchildren, Caden Honard and Kayla Honard; a sister, Denise H. LaBorde of Millcreek ; and a nephew, Dan LaBorde, Jr.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2216 Peach Street, Friday morning at 11:00 with Pastor Victor Pavlenko officiating.
