John E. Davis, 54, of Erie died on Tuesday April 10, 2007, following an extended illness.

John was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and attended Gannon University. He was previously employed at General Electric.

John was preceded in death by his mother Martha Davis in 2004. He is survived by his father, Thomas E. Davis of Erie, daughter, Katyana Gradler of Pittsburgh, Pa., two brothers Douglas R. Davis and his wife Pamela of Gross Pointe Farms, Michigan, and Donald A. Davis of Virginia Beach, Va., nieces and nephews Andrea Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., Tyler Davis of Virginia, Louis Davis and Zoe Davis both of Gross Pointe Farms, Michigan.
