Pamela Dieter (Cagara)

Pamela Dieter Cagara, 41, of East 27th St., died Saturday, May 31, 1997, at her residence. She was born in Erie, Dec. 15, 1955, daughter of Ralph and Bonnie Combs Dieter of Erie. She was a lifelong Erie resident, a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church and a 1974 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She was employed for 20 years with Great Lakes Pen Sales Co. until 1996. Following that, she was employed with GTE. Mrs. Cagara was a member of the Commodore Perry Yacht Club. She enjoyed watching the Erie Panthers and the Erie Otters hockey, and enjoyed needlepoint. Survivors include her husband, Alan Cagara; one son, Marc Cagara; one daughter, Angela Cagara; two brothers, Michael Dieter and his wife, Sandy, of Erie and Timothy Dieter and his wife, Valerie, of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Kelly and Carrie Dieter, both of Erie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, 2607 Buffalo Road, today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and attend a prayer service there Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. James Church. Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
