John Christopher Hatheway, age 52, a resident of Kansas City, MO and formerly of Erie died Friday January 25, 2008.

John was born August 8, 1955 in Erie, the son of the late Rene D. and Martha (Patty) Kirkland Hatheway. He was a 1974 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and was a member of their wrestling team. For the past ten years, John has worked for the Woodbridge Group in Kansas City.

He is survived by a son Shane Hatheway of Ellington, Conn.; Mary Hatheway of Newtown, Pa., and Kathy Hatheway of Erie; and two brothers David Hatheway of Phoenix, Ariz. And Rene K. Hatheway and his wife Flo of Saxonburg, Pa. He is also survived by three nephews and a niece.

Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty Street Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Services will be private.
