Maureen (Flatley) R. Moose, age 50, a resident of Erie died unexpectedly Saturday December 1, 2007 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Erie on June 5, 1957, the daughter of Rosemary Price Flatley and the late Joseph R. Flatley, Sr.

Maureen was a lifelong resident of Erie and was a 1975 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She had attended St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and was a member of Al-Anon.

Besides her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Flatley. Along with her mother Rosemary,

Maureen is survived by four daughters; Angela Davis and her husband Frank; Jennifer Moose; Betty Moose, and Jessica Smith along with a son Jeffrey Moose, all of Erie.

She is the sister of Joseph Flatley, Jr. and his wife Linda of McKean; Kevin Flatley and his wife Kathy of Findley Lake, N.Y.; Terry Flatley and his wife Linda of Erie; John Flatley and his wife Gennifer of Erie; Timothy, Patrick and Steve Flatley, all of Erie; Kathleen Flatley of Erie; Rosemary Jackson of Gainesville, Fla.; Jane Letto, Christine Flatley and Ann Metzger and her husband Don, all of Erie.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, George (Joe) Sherlock of Erie.

There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St.
