Tara Lynn Eagle Stapp, age 40, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at Hamot Medical Center on Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was born in Erie on July 4, 1970, daughter of the late Roe McLendon and Barbara Ann Eagle. Tara had resided in the Erie area most of her life, having lived in North East for six years before recently moving back to the City of Erie. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and Gannon University. Tara had been employed as a Registered Nurse by Hamot Medical Center, the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home and St. Vincent Surgery Center. Survivors include her beloved son, Tyler Stapp of North East; one brother, Ralph Eagle of Erie; one half-brother, Tyrone Mitchell of Las Vegas, Nev.; two half-sisters, Stephanie Carter and Della Bethea of San Diego, Calif.; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend the Funeral Service there on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery
