Deron Terry

Deron Terry Deron Terry, age 33, of Erie, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at home. Born May 11, 1975 in Erie, he was the son of Patricia Terry of Erie, and the late Joseph Williams. He graduated from Strong Vincent High School and worked in the radiology (transport) department at Hamot Medical Center the past several years. He was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church. Deron was an avid collector of football and basketball memorabilia, especially the Chicago Bulls. He enjoyed music and playing cd’s. Deron always had a smile on his face, he was courteous and had a big heart. He was helpful and loved everyone. He was a symbol of peace and he touched many lives. He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Delta A. Terry, Jr. He is survived by his mother, his twin brother Shannon, his younger brother Jason (Laura Kohl); his grandmother Katie Terry; an uncle Delta A. Terry, III; and aunts Kathryn Terry, Jacquelyn Terry, Denise Terry, Pamela Terry, Priscilla Terry, many cousins and friends, including the patients he came in contact with at Hamot Medical Center, and his family in Virginia. Friends may call on Monday at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services at Shiloh Baptist Church, 901 East 5th Street on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Michael T.
