Alan Kantorowski

Loving son, brother, and friend Alan Scott Kantorowski, 22, of Erie, died Thursday, December 8, 2005. He was born in Erie on March 8, 1983, the son of Antoinette Kantorowski and George Clinton. Alan was employed as the Training Supervisor at Dial America. He was a star football player for Strong Vincent High School from 1997 to 2001. He also attended Mercyhurst College North East. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cooking and playing video games in his spare time. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Terry Kantorowski; a maternal grandmother, Lillian Kolbas; a close cousin, David Herron; his girlfriend, Brooke Stanko, all of Erie; a niece, Tia Kite of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alan was of quiet nature and was a sweet, gentle giant, standing at 6'4", 250 pounds. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St., and are invited to the funeral service there on Monday at 11 a.m., with Msgr. Thomas Brooks officiating.
