Hello Class of 2005!  

Things are finally rolling for our 10 year reunion and a date is set!  Our reunion will actually include events over 3 days so as to include as many people as possible.  Hopefully you can attend all 3 fun events but if not, hopefully you'll be able to make it to at least one of them!  

• Friday, August 28, 2015 - We will start out the weekend with an informal gathering at the Fairborn Varsity Football Game.  This should be a fun way to get together, bring your kids if you have them, and root on the Skyhawks! Hopefully we can get some fun things planned to be included on this night... I'm thinking Class of 2005 T-Shirts, an announcement of our class sometime during the game, etc.  
• Saturday, August 29, 2015 - This will be the formal event and dinner Saturday evening.  It will be held at the Hope Hotel with appetizer, buffet dinner, cash bar, DJ & dancing!  Hoping to plan some fun events for this night as well!  Maybe door prizes, raffles, superlatives?  Be a part of the planning committee to help come up with ideas! (Because they are located on a US Air Force Base, their location will not show up on standard GPS using the address. • Sunday, August 30, 2015 - We will wrap up the weekend with another informal gathering..this time at TJ Chumps in Fairborn (1100 East Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324; near Kroger & Arby's)!  We have the party room reserved from 11am - 4pm.  Come and go whenever you want! They will have football playing on the TVs, so you can watch a game and/or socialize with classmates.  Everyone will be on separate checks/tabs, so you can order whatever you want for appetizers, food, and drinks. You will just need to give the server your name when you order and make sure you pay/tip before you leave.

More information will be coming soon and over the next few months to pull together those that want to be a part of the planning committee to help coordinate some fundraisers and to plan some fun for our events!  All ideas and help will be welcome!

Right now, it looks like tickets for the formal event will be around $40-42 each.  It all depends on how many people attend and all of the venues that we looked at were around the same within a few dollars.  Once you add on service charges, taxes, fees for bartenders, etc., they are all pretty competitive with each other.  I'm also really hoping we can do a couple of fundraisers beforehand and get that cost down. However, we have set up a 2005 FHS Reunion bank account and you will be able to make payments towards your tickets in installments over the upcoming months.  

What I would ask of everyone who plans to attend the Saturday event, please click on the "10 Year Reunion Event" on the left hand menu and make a deposit of $10 per ticket now.  The account is set up to deposit directly into our Reunion bank account and processes securely through Paypal so no one will have access to any of your credit/check card information.  Making a payment now will not only help us get a head count for the venue, but also create some cash in our Reunion account to pay the deposit for the Hope Hotel.  Your cooperation and participation would be greatly appreciated to help keep things moving smoothly.  If you are unable to pay the deposit at this time, please click on "Notify Me" on the left hand menu to let me know if you are planning to attend so that I can include you in our head count for the Hope Hotel.
