Reunion Ideas:
I was trying to think of some ideas for our reunion and I've come up with a couple of possible activities. Please add your own ideas or feel free to critique the ideas that others post.

I thought we should have at least 2 nights worth of activities. One could be a family-friendly gathering with no alcohol. I have some connections with Arkansas Athletes Outreach, and they have a very nice facility that we could rent out. It has basketball courts, beach volleyball, swimming pool, pool tables, movie room, and a few other things. Then, depending on whether a home game is scheduled, we could rent out a patio at Arvest Stadium for a Naturals game. They have a restaurant in left field that has a patio attached that can be rented for events. This would be more of an adults night with alcohol being served. Also, since Sagely has connections with Bizy's we could have them cater the family night or have another event there? The 98 class had part of theirs at the Farmington park and just grilled burgers and hot dogs. That's another family-friendly activity that we could do for very cheap. Really, it all depends on the interest. The more people we have that plan on coming the cheaper the activities will be for everyone else.

Please throw your ideas out there and we'll sift through what we come up with and develop a plan.

Yes, Bizys would definetly cater to us! They have a wide selection. If you wanted I could get a menu and post it on the page so everyone can see what all they serve. Just let me know what we decide, and I will get that started. The sooner I know the sooner I can give you some prices. My parents would love to help us out anyway possible.

There is always the Jones Center for the family friendly portion. My Mother in law works for them, we could reserve it but we would need to do it soon.

Oh, the Jones Center is a good idea, that would be cheaper than the AAO complex and have more activities to do. We'll need to set a date so that we can reserve it as soon as possible. I was thinking around June 20th or 27th.

I love the ideas! I agree that we should do something where all can bring their kids and introduce everyone to them! It is also a great idea to do something more for adults because I don't know about the other parents but I won't get too much time to visit if my daughter is present. It will be great to get caught up with classmates and to show off our families! I think we need to do two seperate things.

Hello everyone! I think the park idea is a good idea & the jones center for the families.....so whatever u guys decide is good with me.....Jared the game idea also sounds good for the adults or if we can find a restaurant that has a big enough room to rent or a patio section to rent out like the powerhouse & we can all get together for some food & drinks & catch up.....or maybe we can get together @ somone's house & have a bbq or even the gym @ the school & like Sagely suggested have Bizzy's cater it.....I don't live in Ar anymore so it's hard for me to know good places to go.......as soon as we come to a decision on the place & date.....let me know so I can put in for the time off @ wrk & get my ticket to come up there.....hope everyone is doing good......I'm excited to see everyone.....been a long time.

We would love to offer our house for the adult night of the reunion if we are looking for a place to have it. It would be free, of course, so if we need to find a cheap route, Jessica and I are game. We live in P.Grove, only about 5 minutes from the Farmington High School. We have tons of parking space and lots of room for everyone.

Hi David.....I think that is a wonderful idea for the adult get together.....that's what I'm voting for.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been on here in some time! Here is what I'm thinking:

June 27th, family oriented picnic at PG Battlefield park from around 12 to 2. We could rent a pavilion next to the play ground so the kids could have something to do. I'm sure that Arvest would allow use to use their cooker and we could provide hot dogs/hamburgers, chips and drinks for everyone.

Then, if David and Jessica are still interested in hosting it, we could have an adult get-together that night at their house.

This would be cheap and pretty easy to organize since I've dropped the ball and let this slip up on us. Does this sound good to everyone?

Jarod, that sounds like a good plan to me.

Are we going to eat at David and Jessica's? If so I could have Bizys cater. I just didn't think we would want to have hamburgers and hot dogs again. I am sure they would give us a deal! I just think we need to plan food if we are all going to eat there for supper. Just let me know. If we don't want to do Bizys then I will be happy to help in any way to get food set up.

Sagely,
I'll call David and Jessica tonight and see if they still want to host. If not, is Bizzy's available to rent out a section for us? I know that Springdale's class of 98 rented out the top floor of Grubs so there's another option.

Amanda LaRell Hart

I'm all for renting out the top of Grubs or someplace else like that. Let me know what I need to do to help. I will contact some of the "missing" classmates I know on Facebook and Myspace! Let's make this fun, since we haven't seen everybody in so long!
