Comments:
After high school I attended the University of Vermont and received a BS in Civil Engineering in 1979. I then moved to Alaska and worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, first as a military officer, and then as a civilian. I lived and worked as a civil engineer in Alaska from 1980 until 1999. In 1999 I moved back to Vermont and worked as a private sector consultant for a variety of engineering firms. In 2005 I became Public Works Director for a small town in vermont where I continue to work today.
I was married in 1980 to my wife Cheri. We have two daughters and one grand daughter.
I enjoy mountain biking, sailing, hiking, and kayaking in the summer and I ski in the winter.
