BISSONNETTE, Gary J., 52, of Manchester, passed away suddenly Sunday, (September 14, 2008). Born in Hartford, September 7, 1956, son of John L. Bissonnette of Farmington and the late Antoinette (Albano) Bissonnette. Gary was a Deliveryperson for Pro Health and The Hartford Courant. Besides his father, he is survived by his two sisters, Karen Masse of Farmington and Denise Bissonnette of San Antonio, TX, his longtime companion, Michelle Goldberg of Manchester, his nieces, Kelly Masse, Keegan Masse and Stephanie Bissonnette, his great-nephew, Joshua Michael Offen, his great-niece, Jamielyn Offen and many cousins.

Gary was part of a group of friends growing up. We lived near each other and along with Jeff Lee and Drew Swanson, spent a fair amount of time together, especially as youngsters, getting into all sorts of mischief of one sort or another. As we got older, as life happens when you get to Jr. & Sr. High, you lose that tight bond yet we all remained friends, with Gary excelling in track and me being yelled at by Coach Pinsky. And as happens more times than not, we hadn't seen each other in quite some time.Gary's passing really shocked me as he seemed to be geting his life together. I go by the house he grew up in on Arwood Rd. every time I go to visit my Mom and I think of Gary and back when we were kids.
