Mal was into martial arts at a time when not many knew what it was, aside from seeing it performed in Bruce Lee movies. I remember him using nunchucks one day and being impressed at his ability to not knock himself out with them, as I most assuredly would have done.
I thought David died (was shot) during a burglary at his fathers business, over near the water treatment plant on Rt. 4. I believe it happened about a year after we graduated.
