A memorial service with military honors for Mr. Malcolm "Jeff" Morriss, 62, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Morriss passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019, at RMC Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Kelly Morriss; daughters, Ashley Morriss, Erica McCoy, and Brandy Munn; son, Brandon Joseph Morriss; grandchildren, Raylei Munn, and Noah Munn; sisters, Cathy Meyer, and Rachel Morriss; brother, Jimmy Morriss; and nieces, Crystal Meyer, and Zoe Morriss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Karl and Betty Gilmore Muir Morriss; grandparents, Jeff B. and Fern Morriss; and nephew, Kory Joseph Meyer.

Mr. Morriss was of the Baptist Faith and served in the United States Navy.
