After graduation I worked for Holder & Moore, Attorneys at Law, while working there I had my daughter Lisa. We moved to Tuscaloosa for a couple of years and during this time I had my son Christopher...we moved back to Fayette for a short time and then moved to Booneville, Missouri, after being there for a year we returned to Fayette where I again worked for Holder, Moore & Grocholski, for several years. During the time I was there we started a BBQ business in Fayette (Lisa's) and kept it for about five years and sold it. We remained out of the business for about a year and opened another BBQ business in Columbus, Mississippi, (PJ's Smokeout BBQ on 18th Ave.) which is still in business and sold it after 5 years. During the time we were in Columbus my first grandchild Bailey was born. I now have five grandchildren, Bailey, Torey, Tyler, Alexus, and our new little addition Abbigayle, I adore each one and they are the light of my life! Also while in Columbus, Leland decided to follow the call to go into the ministry, a calling he had told me about when we were younger, he followed this calling and we now pastor the Church of God of Prophecy (next to the old Nelson Funeral Home) in Fayette, and are very happy in our church and being with our friends and family, especially our children and grandchildren. I enjoy teaching Sunday School, leading praise and worship at our church and fulfilling the calling God has for mine and Leland's life. So basically working, building two businesses with my husband, spending time with my children and grandchildren, and now helping him with the church keeps me very busy and content.

I have many fond memories and a lot of them were in Mrs. Couch's class, I had some really great times in her BOE class.
