This is so strange reading about Chris' passing now. While going through some old pictures, I found one from the senior play, "The Miracle Worker." The picture was of Chris as Helen Keller and Kathy Nail (now Kate Capshaw) as Annie Sullivan. In fact I just showed it to my students on Thursday.
Other than through the play, I did not know Chris very well. However during the play she was always friendly to me. She was a little human dynamo as Helen Keller and won the Best Supporting Actress at that year's Student Workshop Theatre Awards Night.
Christine Sullivan lived across the street from me. After High School, Christine and I kept in contact when I would come home. She had some sad events - her little sister died from diabetes, then Christine got divorced and raised her little girl as a single mom. But whenever we got together we would laugh about our crazy mothers and her old boyfriend. I really miss her.
