Actually, Theodore (Ted) Apple Jr. died on Sunday, Nov 26, 1972 in a car accident going back to college from a weekend visit to his family. He was a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. Ted was survived by his parents (Ted Sr & Georgia), his sister (Lind Sue Dix), grandparents, nephews & cousins at the time of his death.
He was a great guy and jokester. I rode the bus with him from 10th to 12th grade & it was a great shock when he was killed.
