Linda had one daughter, Leslie, who is now 29. Linda received her degrees from UMSL.  Her last degree was a doctorate in counseling education in 1986. She was a LPC in Housten, Texas. Her last position was working with troubled adolescents on an in patient psychiatric unit. Shortly after moving to Houston, she was diagnosed with MS. She died at her beach house in Galveston, Texas. She was 48 years old.
