I knew Joan (Henning) Kastner when I lived in St. Louis many years ago. I met her on a sales call to the company she worked at, US Wiping and Materials. She worked the front desk. We became friends and I always enjoyed talking with her when I would visit the company. I went to Russell Elementary when I was a child and she lived near there, I believe. I also went to Hazelwood West for one year before moving to Kirkwood, so we had that in common too.

I moved to Minnesota back in 1986 and lost contact with her. I was searching for her to see what she was up to and found out through your site she had passed away. I was saddened to hear that and that I had waited so long to look up old friends.

I was just curious to know if anyone knew what happened to her. She was such a nice lady.
