In Memory

Roberta Keller

Roberta Keller

Roberta Keller died in the early 70's. She fell down a flight of stairs. I did not fill out the in memory of page because I don't know the exact date of her death.

Bobbi, Ellen Gillespie myself and a few others used to have some wonderful times running around our neighborhood late into the evening.  I lost contact with them shortly after graduation.  She was a lot of fun, and a sweet person.

Too much to say, and words can't express the loss I feel.

What wonderful times we had.

Bobbi and I were good friends in high school and I remember she was the one that called me on the phone from the Homecoming dance when she found out that I got "stood-up"!  I can still hear her voice.

When she came back to Missouri, we hadn't spoken, but through a mutual friend, we let each other know that we wanted to get together.   The next news I received was that she had passed away. I will always regret not making it a priority to make plans with her, I missed out on a wonderful opportunity to see her again.

Bobbi had a wonderful sense of humor and was always fun to be around.  She and I attended the same church in Spanish Lake and we were confirmed together.  Senior year she signed my yearbook "Remember confirmation class- duh what's that".

Bobbi was one of the first friends I made in the Hazelwood School District and I miss her.  Her, Patty Ruegg, and I were great friends in grade school.

I remember how kind-hearted and sweet Bobbi was. Though I wasn't a particularly close friend of hers, we were friends, and she always made the time to talk and be genuinely concerned and interested in those around her...she set a good example for me and others, and spread around her great sense of humor. I tried always to be that way. Rest in God's Peace, Bobbi. You are missed!
