Tom and I shared a number of classes throughout our time in the Hazelwood School District but I never really got to know him too well. I do remember having gym period with him and wearing those God awful yellow shorts and yellow shirt! What I remember was that Tom was almost as skinny and malnurished looking as me! I want to thank him for not making me feel so physically isolated...though I am sure he probably thought he looked better than me and I am sure I probably provided him a fleeting feeling of masculine superiority.

Tom was my boyfriend in 8th grade, and although we went our separate ways that summer we always remained kind to each other.
When I learned that I was moving the summer before senior year, Tom was the first to come up and wish me well in my new life.
I had always hoped he got to do all the things he wanted. He was truly a fine person. You are thought of and missed, Tom.
