Comments:
I graduated from UNI in May of 1992 with a degree in marketing and married Steve in September of the same year. We moved around a bit, spending time in Cedar Rapids, Fort Dodge, Kansas City and Omaha before deciding that Fort Dodge was where we wanted to raise our kids. We have been back in Fort Dodge since 2000 and are enjoying sending our kids to the same schools that we attended. (Even having some of the same teachers!)
I work for an accounting firm that my father owned until recently. I always said I'm lucky my boss likes my kids so I'm able to have a very flexible schedule. I work two days a week but spend most of my time running my boys to whatever it is that they are involved in. Austin is an 8th grader at Phillips Middle School (aka North) and Nick is a 5th grader at Fair Oaks (aka South).
Steve and I have been married for 16 years. We enjoy traveling, golfing and spending time with a close group of great friends that we have made since returning to Fort Dodge. I'm very involved with booster clubs at both my boy's schools, the Fort Dodge Community School District Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation and our church.
I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone this fall!
