Just thought I'd get the Message Forum kicked off - ya never know where it will take us

I understand it's a bit like being at a party where everyone chats and the conversation can go all over the place. Please feel free to jump in, post a comment, ask a question, make a suggestion. This reunion is for all of us and should be just what we want to see happen. (although, it's probably not going to be quite that diverse - but I have a feeling that most of us want similar things on this topic).

My only request is that we keep all comments respectful of others.

Thanks to all who have registered already and are helping to spread the site to other classmates.

Buca.....I would be pleased to assist in any way possible, but i'm obviously not in Edmonton. One area I may be able to help out is in getting the word out in Central Alberta...talk to me about getting a essage on the air. Also, entertainment...I am already polishing up my stripper pole.

My wife and my self attended the reunion, and had a blast.  Thanks again Buca and those others that helped organize it.  I hope to attend the Ft. Mac. get together, because its a great way to see old friends all at once.

Hello Everyone!!

Just found this Message Forum...better late eh?

Anyways, I'd like to express my gratitude to all those who were involved with the Reunion plans, and to those who were able to attend, you made my evening an incredible and joyfilled experience!!

I look forward to the photo/video CD ...

It was honestly, just like I had seen you at school the week before laughing, hugging and catching up...not about the weekend, but the last 25 years!!  I thought everyone looked fantastic and aging very gracefully in style!  - Young at heart never grows old!

I hope to see you all again in 2012 Ft. Mac Anniversary and in addition, even more familiar faces that were missed at the reunion.

Have an AMAZING summer !

Hugs,

 Irene

Tony, the only information I have to date is what's on the home page of this website.  I'm going to start hunting for more - if anyone hears anything, please pass it on so we can keep everyone informed.  I'm still trying to round up more reunion pictures to make a decent dvd (man, there must be some crazy shots taken to make folks want to keep them to themselves, LOL ... jUST KIDDING!!!!)  Please, please please - send them directly to my email address - vickyknee@gmail.com and be sure to include names of the folks in the pictures.

My wife Pat Crossman, who started her Fort Mc Murray teaching career at Peter Pond, and I, are certainlly looking forward to the District Anniversary, and the opportunity to visit with former students and staff. I hope those who remember me will say hello, and appreciate that with my advancing years my memory may not be perfect. Pat is still normal.

Wayne Pinkney.

Hi Vicki,

I felt forced to answer yes to the Alberta Reuinion, so this will not really reflect a true result for the cruise.  Either one or the other should be answered, or worded a bit differently.

FYI ... are others commenting on this as well?

What is your cell number for easier communications?  : )

It would be scary to see everyone in their bathing suit on a cruise ship....I might jump overboard !

2010 in Sherwood Park was fantastic!

2012 in Fort McMurray was memory-making for those of us that went.

When is the next one planned? Smiles, Pam

I wish I had made the one in Ft. McMurray. However life has this problem of continuing to happen.

I had a blast at the Aug 2015 reunion. In many ways, it was more fun than 2010. This year I had no expectations of anyone nor anything. Lisa (my sister) and I had a vacation from our lives for a few days. We both enjoyed that. We even got bathing suits so we could use the pool. too bad the pool closed so early.

I am glad I talked to as many people as I managed. I loved watching people with yearbooks open and talking to others beside them about memories. I got lots of comments in my yearbooks.

I got to talk to Irene Caouette for a long time. I had her mistaken for someone else, and I think she might have had me mixed up. Didn't matter, it was all fun. I got to know Pam Bland and David Gregg, Although to be honest, I mostly talked to Pam. So many people from the class of 1974 were not there.  That was too bad. Those of us who were there got to talk, a picture of our class at the event missed a couple of people.

So many people, so many things. Someone needs to write a book.

My biggest disappointment was I somehow managed to miss Tim Scheybler. I need to pay more attention.

Next time I will take advantage of the mojo photoboth (or it's future equal).

Next time we should be able to incorporate all our new technology to help individual connect. Like facebook on our phones, or txt messaging info. I'm sure that we could come up with something that wouldn't invade peoples privacy. I shall think on it. Be afraid.. or beat me to it.

I think I should also volunteer next time. It is important for people to get involved. Even me. All in all life is good.

Yes Anita, it was wonderful seeing everyone. Never enough time to connect with each person! And you hit it on the nose when you mention volunteering, I know that getting involved makes any event a lot more fun, and helps with it's success. You can never pull off any good event with just one person doing the promo and work.

I certainly appreciate all the help received for this one!
