Wilma was a very sweet person who, I understand, after leaving Ft. McMurray, spent many years of her short life working with children. My sincerest condolences to Wilma's husband & children and to other families with whom she connected through her work.
Wilma Gayle Fisher (nee Wallace), beloved wife of Michael Fisher of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the age of 47 years.
Wilma was born in Peace River, AB on November 11, 1957. She lived most of her life in Fort McMurray, AB prior to living in Calgary for the past twenty years. Wilma spent many hours working with children and enjoyed her most recent posting with Central Memorial High School. She loved animals and volunteering with associations that helped children. She is survived by a loving family.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Catholic Church (Venice, AB) on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. JosÚ Chirappanath, Presider. Graveside Service to follow in Hylo, AB.
