Jennifer Holderman (Blevins)

JENNIFER "FRED" LYNN BLEVINS, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, 9:30 p.m. surrounded by friends and family. Born Feb. 27, 1963, she was the daughter of Richard and Lou Ann Holderman. She went to Concordia High School, Vincennes University, and then enlisted in the U.S. Army for two years. After the Army, she started working for Hilton Worldwide where she met her husband, Tom Blevins. After a long career and many different positions, she left to open her own Curves for Women franchise in Memphis, Tenn. that she owned and operated for 10 years. Jennifer and her husband adopted twin girls, Abigail and Lillian from China in 2006 and then shortly after that moved from Memphis back to her hometown of Fort Wayne. Jennifer and her family are members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where her children attend school just like their mom and will be starting the 2nd grade in the fall. Jennifer loved playing golf, playing cards, touring cemeteries, and watching HGTV in addition to spending as much time as possible with her friends and family.  Survivors include her parents, husband and children, and her brother, Jeffery Holderman (a bus driver in Los Angeles, Calif.). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ella Grace, in 2002. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday July 21, 2013, at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 South Calhoun St., Fort Wayne.  Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, with Military rites by American Legion Post 241.  Memorials may be designated to "Fred's Fight", 4208 Wyndemere Pass, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, and proceeds will be used for an educational fund for Abby and Lilly.
