Joyce Ann Hartoebben, 80, Festus, Missouri

Joyce Ann Hartoebben, 80, of Festus died June 11, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Hartoebben was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Imperial; a 50-year member and past worthy matron of the Herculaneum Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 325 and grand organist and in 2007 the worthy grand matron for the Missouri State Eastern Star. Born Sept. 6, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Lillian (Velek) and Arthur Carl Graue.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald H. Hartoebben.

She is survived by two daughters: Beverly (Kevin) Heather of Irving, Texas, and Susan McCarty of Festus; three grandchildren: Jessica (Lane) Eckhoff, Joseph McCarty and Jadyn McCarty; and a great-grandson: Diesel Christian Eckhoff.

She was preceded in death by two infant siblings: Jean Graue and James Graue; and a son-in-law: Robert C. McCarty.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Greg Booher. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the Missouri Child Identification Program or Champ Assistance Dogs. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
