Mary Jo Morel

FEBRUARY 17, 1940 – MARCH 25, 2019

Mary Jo Morel a lifetime resident of Fort Wayne went home to the Lord on Monday the 25th of March. She was born on February 17, 1940 to Howard and Peggy (Bower) Lindenberg. Mary Jo was a graduate of South Side High School Class of 58. She was a homemaker, teachers aid at Holland elementary school and retired from ITT after devoting 20 years of service. Mary Jo was a Northrop Bruin Show Choir groupie and loved the Ft. Wayne Children’s Zoo. She also enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, gardening and feeding the giraffes at the zoo.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Lindenberg and former spouse, Frank Morel. She is survived by her children Mary Lynn Morel, Christopher (Lisa) Morel, Michael (Lori) Morel. Brother Mark (Debbie) Lindenberg. Grandchildren Dan, Brooke, Arie, Zach, Kayleigh, Reese and Sydney. Great-grandchildren Jennifer, Rocky, Emma, Ellinor, Azlyn and Ireland.
