Brenda Lee Hay, 73, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Born in Evansville, IN, Brenda was the daughter of Ernie and Helen Payne. She graduated from South Side High School in 1958. Brenda loved her family and enjoyed playing bridge, bingo and Elvis. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Bernie; and daughter, Susan, both of Fort Wayne; son, Dr. Jeffrey (Tiffenii) Hay of Coronado, CA; brother, Ernest (Jackie) Payne of Evansville; sister, Jane Snowberger of Fort Wayne; and granddaughters, Sophia, Avery, Reilly, and Mila. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with Rev. Keith Schreffler officiating, calling 1 hour prior to service.
