BARBARA S. PORTER, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Born Jan. 7, 1040 in Fort Wayne, she was a graduate of South Side High School. She was a past honored Queen of Job's Daughters. She received her B.S. Degree from Purdue University in Speech Therapy and was a member of the AD PI Sorority there. Surviving are her husband, Tom S. Porter of Auburn Township, Ohio; sister, Ellen (David) Byrne of Hammond, Ind; brother, Charles E. (Patricia) Stanbery Jr. of Torrance, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 22, 2010. at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
