Carol Starke, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. She was born on September 16, 1940 a daughter of the late Vernon and Emilie (Brockriede) Wiebke. She graduated from South Side High School. She worked at Lincoln Life and later retired from Keltsch Pharmacy after 18 years. She was a member at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the lake in her younger years and more recently enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, gardening and especially time with her family. Surviving family include her husband, Tom Starke; daughter, Linda (Ron) Jancso; son Greg (Renee) Starke; grandchildren, Justin (Mary) Jancso, Rachel Jancso, Allison (Travis) Runyan, Austin, Melissa, and Connor Starke; and great grandchildren, Michael Jancso, Riley Runyan, and Brayden Jancso. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Richard Wiebke. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse.
