Andrea Parkison, 56, passed away Aug. 7, 2010. She was born Nov. 1, 1953, in Harriman, Tenn., and was a 23-year resident of Nevada. Paulette was a woman of strength, love and compassion. To know her, was to love her. She adored her family and friends and spending time with them brought much joy to her life. She was a licensed optician for Costco for over 10 years and enjoyed working with the public. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, shopping and visiting family and friends. She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, one son, Corwin Parkison of Las Vegas; parents, Paul and Christine Taylor of Port Aransas, Texas; two brothers, David Taylor of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Frank Taylor of Las Vegas; and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
