Virtual Viet Nam Wall
A lot of time was spent on the following link and it is truly remarkable. Click on the picture below and take a look. The link will take you to a 'virtual wall' of all those lost during the Viet Nam war with the names, bio's and other information on our lost comrades. It is a very memorable link, and those who served in that timeframe and lost friends or family can look them up on this site.
First click on a state... then when it opens ... a name... then it should show you a picture of the person or at least their bio and medals.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.
Veterans Day is an annual American holiday occurring November 11. The same day is also known as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. It began as a commemoration of the end of Word War I on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918. Since then it has become a salute to all veterans of all wars and to all who have served their country in military service.
