Drew Allen Pruzaniec

PRUZANIEC, Drew A. 66, of Springfield, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Drew was born on June 12, 1952 in Chicago and grew up with his parents and sisters in a suburb there. He left his college study of literature and writing to pursue creating and selling art. In young adulthood he fell in love with Jesus while he was pursuing his art career. He then poured all his creativity and passion into a steadfast dedication for sharing the Gospel. Drew invested his life, love and service to the his family, his friends and the church body. He was skilled in technology and had excellent craftsmanship. He could build or repair anything after researching it and he loved sharing this talent with anyone who needed help. Most importantly, Drew never doubted where he would spend eternity. He loved to make people laugh and was always witty, full of "quips" as he called them. He adored his children and their spouses and was always ready to help. Drew was a role model to his sisters and loved them very much. He used all facets of the mind God gave him to love, serve and provide. He never worried much about his health only because he knew when his earthly body passed, it was time to be with his Heavenly Father. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 36 years, Sharon Pruzaniec; children, Aaron (Samantha Apgar) Pruzaniec, Nathan (Drew) Pruzaniec, Danielle (Caleb) Oakes and Anna (TJ Leal) Pruzaniec; mother, Loretta Pruzaniec; sisters, Jill (Dan Szuszwalak) Pruzaniec and Bonnie (George Demos) Pruzaniec; and many other extended family members and great friends.
