In Memory

Teresa Lemoncello (Johnson)

Teresa 'Terri' Johnson, 64, of Littlefield, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Littlefield. She was born March 15, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Samuel and Violet Lemoncello.
Terri was born into a large Italian family, raised in Chicago, and later she enrolled in the United States Army. Terri proudly served as a Military Medic while stationed in the Middle East, and after her active military career, she joined the Reserves. In 1989, in San Antonio, Texas, Terri married Gary Johnson, and in 1991 they moved to Littlefield. Terri was a strong willed and brave soul, which was evident to those around her as they watched her fight breast cancer. That tough spirit started at a young age, as she raced Motorcross, until serious injuries forced her to give it up. She worked for the United States Post Office for many years, and then as the Supervisor for the Montford Unit Mail Room. In addition to that, she also worked for Littlefield Police Department, and owned and operated her own company, "Tee's by Terri". She was an excellent cook who could prepare anything from the greatest Italian food to BBQ ribs. In her spare time, Terri loved to travel and go camping, but her greatest joy came from just spending time with her family. She was a very vibrant Italian woman, who had a zest for life, and a love for God. She attended Assembly of God Church in Levelland where she played music during the services frequently, and she was also a member of the New Horizons Emmaus Community.
Terri is survived by her husband, Gary Johnson, of Littlefield; two sons, Jason Broz of Albuquerque, NM and George Johnson and wife LaRae of Levelland; three step sons, Rick Johnson and wife Lajuan of Gainsville, Randy Johnson of Reno, NV, and Rodney Johnson of McKinney; a step daughter, Star Lynn Rigsby of San Antonio; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Micky Lemoncello and Susan Lemoncello, both of Chicago; and numerous extended family, and friends.
