Edward, we were good friends at Freeport Jr. High and in high school. Had alot of good times, lost contact so many years ago. didn't know he was in a nursing home. RIP big guy, God bless you and your family.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Edward.  Good friend in school and reconnected recently on Facebook.  Miss him already.  God Bless your family, Brother.  You are missed, but I know that God has a great retirement plan for you.  <><

The first time I saw Edward was on our first Jr. High basketball trip to Freeport Jr. High.

Edward was a very big guy to me, as he was very strong and stocky.  While playing

for the basketball team, I noticed his teammates and especially Mike Cooper who

would give hand instructions to Edward for the various plays the team would be running.

Edward to me was the gentle giant and well respected by all.

Spent  allot  of  time  with  Edward  growing  up.  He  was an  outstanding  football  player.  You  did  not  want  to  get  hit  by  that  man.  He  will  be  truly  missed.  I  know  he  is  in  allot  better  place  now.

I will always remember Edward.  We used to ride up and down the beach in his white corvair.  Blessed be to the Cruzan family.  Janice Dreyer Kettles
