John Wesley Adcock III

John Wesley Adcock, III, of East Columbia, TX passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was born on June 17, 1951 in Cuero, TX to Marjorie & John Adcock, Jr.

He was member of Wild Peach Community Church and was raised and lived in the Brazosport area.

John was a cinephile, genealogist, and enjoyed playing chess.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Adcock, Jr.; mother, Marjorie Constance Adcock; and sister, Barbara Hausman.

He leaves memories with his sons; John “Jay” Wesley Adcock IV of Clute, Roddy Allen Adcock and spouse Roslyn of Wild Peach; sister, Brenda Ivory of Houston; brother, Ricky Adcock of Sweeny; grandsons, Jacob Derringer Adcock of Round Rock and Ruan Gregory Adcock of Wild Peach; nieces and nephews, Matthew Ivory, Jessica Wagner, Sheila Adcock, Deidre Adcock, Charla Hausman, Lisa Hausman; and best friends, Steve Landers, Steve Stein and Greg Hackney and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held on January 16.
