Guy Wefenstette

Guy Perry Wefenstette, 54, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at his home. He was born in Fulton on July 9, 1960, the son of the late Robert Wefenstette and the late Betty (Craighead) Wefenstette.

Guy was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature in all its forms. He loved landscaping and deer hunting. He was a self-employed farmer and found great pleasure in taking care of his hogs.

Those remaining to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include wife, Karen Wefenstette of Jefferson City; daughters, Anna Wefenstette of Jefferson City and Emily Wefenstette of St. Louis; brother, Robert Wefenstette of Columbia; sisters, Sherilyn Russell (Dennis) of Millersburg and Kimberlee Mealy of Russellville, Ark.; step-mother, Pam Wefenstette of Oran, Mo.; step-brother, Jerry Lowes (Tronda) of Hatton; step-sister, Sandy Lowes-Vaughan of Hatton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Along with his parents, Guy was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Wefenstette and brother, Jeffery Wefenstette.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
