I just wanted to say that Jay was a close friend of mine back in middle school.I had just transferred to FVMS from Wake Chapel as did some others at different times and Jay was more or less put with me to show me around. I will never forget friends such as Jay whom didn't seem to have an enemy in the world or even more so let the fact that he had health issues get him down.I will always cherish fond memories of my middle school years because of people such as Jay Glass.

Marty - so glad you posted this pic of Jay - I have some others that I will post too. It's good to remember Jay even though we lost him so early. How much fun would he have been throughout our school years! He was always so sweet and very funny! I still think about him and miss him!

Reid Howard actually had this picture. Jay was a ladies man. I will never forget one very beautiful older girl asked Jay to "go with her". Which was scandalous in itself but not to suprising for her. Anyway Jay said "Go where?"

Hey Guys,

I dont know if you remember but April Hancock before she moved away was his steady in 6th grade. They were real cute together. HIm and his tshirt and jeans and her in her uptown outfits. Anyway, thought I would include a love story he had.

Thanks Jay.

I have a lot of pictures of Jay. I will load them, too if I can bring myself to take them out of my scrapbook. Thanks for starting this post. There is no better time to remeber Jay and his love of parachute pants than our 20 year reunion.

Those parachute pants and his love for Penn State are some of my fond memories of Jay. He also loved those Ricola cough drops.

I truly miss Jay. Especially, all those days we shared in Mr.Weede's class in the 7th grade. Although, he was sick he still fought through it and came to school. Jay you bought so many smiles to our faces and our hearts. God put you here with us for a short time but the love & memories we have of you will be in our hearts a lifetime. We miss you Jay!!!
