Juan was my cousin (Domingo Moreira) and we all remember his sense of humor and his stories. He left some very good memories with his friend and family.

I remember Juan from RMA days. By accident, I ran into him at Ft. Jackson SC, 1967, on the rifle range. I was sitting at the scorer's bench, when he jumped in the foxhole in front of me to complete his marksmanship qualifications. We looked at each other and realized the connection. What a small world! He always had a smile on his face.

Juan and Domingo, plus the other latin guys had a close relationship....and he certaily was a jovial character.
Did not know of his passing, at such a young age...Wow.... we are all in a limited time on this planet.

I just started to read the Riverside old classmates and saw Juan. I think he came over from Cuba as Castro was taking over. Juan was my roomate and taught me some spanish. I had to learn when all his friends came in our room I was lost. I am so sorry to read of his death, I just loss my wife to Cancer last year. Sorry I am so late in responding, but will keep him in my prayers.
