I remember Kenny from 2nd grade.  He was always the artist and clown.  He was always pulling pranks, kinda the class clown.  I was allowed to visit his house after school in elementary and would spend time there quite often.  But my most familiar memory was in Miss Lowe's high school math class.  Kenny got permission to sharpen his pencil.  When Charles Cox later asked to sharpen his pencil we all discovered Kenny had done more than sharpen his pencil when Charles was chastised by Miss Lowe to get done and sit down.  Charles kept looking at the sharpener from all angles and lifting his hand and dropping it.  Again Miss Lowe called on Charles to get done and sit down, to which he told her he couldn't, there was no handle.  Miss Lowe stood up made a noise and stormed from the classroom with her cheeks blood red.  Another successful prank by Kenny removing the handle.  He drove Miss Lowe nuts, which would always cause her to leave class.  Kenny was a friend, gifted artist and always a mess.  One person I've missed seeing grow old with us.

You're so right, Bill.  I missed him and the chance to recharge our friendship from early years. I like your image of him watching over you.
