WOW. I'm just noticing Karl has passed. I remember living in Coral Reef apartments out west and going to the Chambers's house and being treated like family. Karl and I and his brother were big on trading/collecting basket ball cards; actually I think they use to rip me off for some..lol..JK... But I use to feel so welcomed as an outsider and a black kid and that was important to me; being from where I'm from. But RIP Karl and I will always remember you BRO.

Oh My God! I didn't know Karl had passed away. I remember when he lived right behind the school (Ball High that is) on 42nd and P 1/2. His mom and dad were really nice and very into the sports of Ball High especially 2001. I remember him best was when he and I had a class in Speech, and he debated against me regarding economical status at that time, or course I won, but he was a GREAT DEBATER, and I will never forget that. Karl, you are missed, and it was great knowing a great person such as yourself. Thanks for serving in the Armed Forces, and a Happy Veterans Day. to you!!

Karl was my best friend for a long time.  When he first moved to the west side, we were in sixth grade.  We were in Ms. Nodleman's class and I'll never forget how much fun we used to have.  We played basketball, rode bikes, and made a wiffle-ball golf course in his yard.  We both started playing soccer around the same time, and our dads were the coaches for the team.  Those Hurricanes' teams are the source of some of my greatest childhood memories; we used to cut up and have a blast but we also got pretty damn good, and even placed at some tournaments.  Karl brought out the kid in everybody, just so full of energy and laughter.  I miss the hell out of Karl, and I'll always remember the great times we had.
