I had no idea he had been battling cancer for 10 years.  I will always remember him with that big smile on his face, he was such a nice person and will be missed.

See the link below about Thomas.

I honor this brother as he was one of the strongest and happiest spirits/guys I have ever encountered. Ofcoarse I use to rank on my boy sometimes; but his smile and responses always melted my heart, and he had comebacks as well..LOL.. I don't remember a SICK and WEAK Thomas; because he was never such to my eyes. I remember an humble, honest, happy fellow with love in his eyes and kindness in heart. And DON"T think you were going to his longtime job at POPEYE'S chicken on 61st and getting a HOOKUP; friend or NO FRIEND! lol.. This was a Brother of integrity and if he ever did any wrong or hurt anyone; I defend his innocence because I know it was a SPECIAL circumstance. MY heart and LOVE go out to you T-LEE as I remember telling you I was about to move to BALTIMORE, MD back in 2008 via facebook and you saying we should hang before I left. Well it seemed only days later; you were gone Bro and I had NO IDEA that you were even sick. That was your spirit and I REGRET that I didn't get that one last chance to hang with you BROTHER. But, until we meet again.....

Well, what can I say about Bro. T. Leigh?? When I heard about him battling leukemia, I immediately went and donated blood for his blood drive that was going out in the school parking lot. I can truly say that he WAS a survivor for 10 years. some people dont make it that long! My memory of T. Leigh is when we would all hang out with "The Crew" (T.Scott, R. Leigh, A-Train Smiith, D-Low, Myself, Brandy T., Ashley M., Edgar and wife, just to name a few LOL) would all go hang at Club 24 and we all would have a great time... I have pictures of it, and no one knew that T. Leigh was battling anything because he was a strong person smiling through it all... I will never forget those moments and it was a honor being close acquaintances with T.Leigh and his family.. We miss ya dearly, and I know God knew what he was doing bringing you home.. R.I.P. Thomas.

One of my best friends...always has been, and always will be considered a brother to me. I used to pick at him, because we both were nicknamed T.J., i'd say "I dont care what ya daddy call you, IM TJ, YOU are T-Leigh." We had so many good memories, from before High School Graduation, up until the time he passed, there wasnt a week that went by where we lost communication. He was always caring, considerate, funny, easy going. If you knew me, u knew that Thomas wasnt too far behind wherever I was....whether it be dancing it up at Club 24 and Market Street Tavern, introducing ourselves and hanging out with random people at TxA&M, or Running from stampedes in Austin for Tx Relays... there isnt a time where i can recall him not being strong and loveable. One of my last and unforgettable memories were his last couple of weeks on this earth... I remember he came to my job, and brought ME lunch to hang out and just chit chat...even though he was ill...the following week I visited him at the Hospital, praying that he'd get better, but soon after God took his child. Bless his pure heart, we LOVE you bro! Forever a member of the "Crew".
