Carol Stewart Stutz graduated from Walla Walla College with a BSN and went on to Andrews University where she completed her Master's Degree.   She married Gene Stutz who became a pastor for the Indiana Conference after seminary.  They moved from Indiana to the Alaska Mission.  During that time Carol earned her elementary teacher certificate at a local community college.  After teaching in the Indiana, Southern California, Nevada-Utah, Wisconsin and Michigan Conferences, she retired and they moved to Florida.  She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2014 and passed away five weeks later.  She is survived by her husband, two daughters and one granddaughter.  If you have memories, stories or old photos to share, please contact her daughter, Kathy Hernandez, who works at Milo Academy, kshernandez@ymail.com.
