Mike and I were friends from the 4th grade at Victory until we graduated from Ashley. Somehow we lost touch after high school. He, Paul, and I used to explore all the creeks and woods around Robinwood Lake. Mike was a pretty good shot. He once nailed me between the eyes during a BB gun battle ( In the days before lawyers!)!! Mike called me out of the blue a few months ago. First time I had spoken to him since high school graduation. To be honest, it was an odd conversation. He had some real personal problems with some family members he wanted to talk about, and he wanted to organize a hunting trip. I wish I had followed up and been a better listener. We had some good times when we were kids.
