Brandon Fuchs

Shortly after his 1999 graduation from Georgetown High School, Brandon was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer. Despite grueling chemotherapy treatments, he completed two years at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX, as a music major. While there, he was on the Vice President's Academic Honor Roll. In the fall of 2001, he transfered to Southwest Texas State (Texas State) University, San Marcos, TX where he was a member of the Bobcat Marching Band; he passed away two months after school started. In April, 2002, the American Cancer Society honored Brandon by dedicating the Relay for Life walk in his name. Brandon was loved and admired by many during his short journey through life!
