Fae Redding, 58, Topeka, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Midland Hospice House. Mrs. Redding was a teacher, writer and homemaker. She was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of John G. and Rose M. Henske McDaniel. She graduated from Gering High School in Gering, Neb., in 1963. She later received a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from Nebraska Wesleyan College. Mrs. Redding lived in Topeka seven years, moving here from Nebraska. Fae was a born-again Christian. She was married to Bob Redding on Dec. 27, 1969, in Scottsbluff, Neb. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Tara Balocca and her husband, Dean, Tamara S. and Trish Redding, all of Wichita; and two grandchildren, Rachael and Rebecca Bolocca.
