Since leaving Nicolet, I've been fortunate enough to pursue and be involved with the things that made me happy back in high school - but for a living.
- Programmer at Kohl's Corporate Center in Menominee Falls, WI
- Freelance programmer and writer in the video game industry. I write for industry trade publications, do the writing for the instruction manuals that come with your games that you never read, and actually program games as well.
- I'm co-founder of the largest retro video game show in the country, the Midwest Gaming Classic (www.midwestgamingclassic.com). Yes, it celebrates all that great fun from our childhood - Atari, Coleco, Nintendo, etc. And its based right in the Milwaukee area!
- Musician. Still play guitar, write/record music, and am working on an internet startup related to music, video, and more.
- Martial arts. Been doing it for 27 years, and no plans on stopping. I teach semi-private on the east side of Milwaukee. www.atarihq.com/wingchun
I got married in 2005 to Marcie Goodman, another Nicolet alumni, and we live in Bayside, Wisconsin. Kind of weird to be living in Bayside, always preferred Glendale (Glen Hills still rules over Bayside and Maplejail, for those who remember those frosh rivalries).
