Hi Guys :)

I also would like to commend all those involved who have given their precious time to put together this outstanding website. I'm looking forward to attending our 35th reunion! (WOW!)

Can our spouses or children attend any of the reunion festivities? (at least the HS tour, parade, and game?)

Well, this is just outstanding, Jane et. al. Love how easy it is - and free! I love that we're going to blend the Saturday event with other classes, too. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces, sharing life stories and commiserating about how fast the years have gone by!
THANK YOU, planning team, for once again taking the lead and organizing what promises to be a fabulous weekend.

Well done Jane! Im having a great time reading all these messages. First time I have looked at the computer in months. Come on class, start posting some snaps. Where are you people? And John Dear, I can't think of anything more boring for your spouse or children then being around people that they don't know and vice versa. Put yourself in their shoes.

Hi Pam,

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. My wife & I have a tough enough time spending some quality time together, and are both looking forward to socializing together. I see there will be very few classmates in attendance, and even fewer that I even knew.

My son is very interested in spending Saturday with his dad at the high school tour, homecoming parade, and football game. Evening time is a different story.

Here's wishing everyone a wonderful weekend of talking to really old people!
I hate that I won't be able to attend but too many things are happening around here for me to get away.
Know that I will be envious of everyone who does show up for all the "get togethers" and of course this is Homecoming weekend too, isn't it? Someone please tell me what kind of football team do we have this year?
And Please, please, please post a lot of pictures from the dinner etc. Photos suitable for blackmailing should be posted in each appropriate profile. (Do what you can Jane!)

Well, Jane, Cathy, Jamie, Matt et. al, THANK YOU for a truly WONDERFUL weekend of connecting, laughing and remembering that life is all about relationships. You all did a terrific job with the venues - both Hackneys and North Shore were just right for the kind of events. Matt, thanks so much for picking up the tab for Friday's yummy snacks and for the photographer. I'm looking forward to lots of great pictures posted here.

Also looking forward to seeing all those who were there and even more at the 40th, God willing. Again a big hug of gratitude to all who spend so much time on getting us together again.
Peace,
Jeannie

Looks like everyone had a terrific time - the photos were such fun to look at, and everyone looked fabulous! This website is wonderful, especially when people post photos and stories. I sure can't believe it is 35 years since we were in high school....

Thanks for the nice GBS Class website Jane! Thanks for emailing me and bringing me back to such wonderful memories of youth. I live in the Philippines now and so now I am trying more then ever to contact old friends. I miss the good old red white and blue, well PH flag same colors, 3rd most English speaking nation as the USA occupied the Philippines for 40 years after they kicked out Japan and the Spanish that took it over. USA helped so many countries, now it time some of these rich oil countries help bail out some of are banks.

I went through the list and found some classmates I remember, but nobody has setup there account I can find. If I don't remember you I am sorry, 35 years of living will do that to you, lol. Look me up, Don J Rieb (They spelled my name wrong reib, unless they fixed it already) and contact me as I would love to here from you guys and gals. I setup my account with before and after photos. Will post more later.

Thanks again Jane for the wonderful web site. I know you all had fun at the 35th reunion! Well I guess you can see why I could not attend this one, I am 810,000 miles away from yall. I will try to post some photos of the Philippines later also, it is so beautiful here!

They used to call me Don Whan, well the girls did, the guys called me Donald Duck, arge, lol.

Hope to chat with some of you!

I miss you Ms. Charles!

Hi Guys,

I had a great time at Hackney's and ran into more classmates (that I knew) than expected, which really made it great. Dan, thank you so much for the excellent supply of food (dinner sure wasn't needed).

I enjoyed the parade and high school tour with my son.

I started to watch the football game and had a health episode. If anyone at the game saw the ambulance come, that was me being hauled off to Glenbrook Hospital.

Unfortunately, they kept me overnight and my wife and I had to forfeit the dinner at North Shore.

I am indebted to Nancy Parker for moving my car to the hospital parking lot from GBS (until I was released).

Well John, I see that all that QUALITY (anxiety) time split between your classmates AND your Family did you in . Sorry to hear that. As a qualified people pleaser myself, it doesn't work. Listen to this Sister next time, and please keep us posted, as to, how much you enjoyed HER reunion.
See you at the 40th-Pamela Douglas

I wish more people would stop by and let us know what's up with themselves.  I can't believe we're coming up on 40 years!!

I see I was the last one to post here in awhile....looking forward to the reunion and it's been several years since I've been in IL - miss it but not so much re the winters. But, I wouldn't mind it if we headed back that way at some point.

Jane...Great job on connecting everyone, as this must have taken hours upon hours of your time. Unfortunately, since I live in Florida, circumstances prevent me from attending. I was looking forward to seeing so many people whom I haven't seen in 40 years !

I hope you mention at the reunion, that classmates can come here and reconnect at any time. St. Catherines students spent 8 years in the same class, so they were like "relatives". I'm sorry to see we've lost so many as well.

Tell everyone Patty Melle' said HI, and wish I could have been there. Raise your glasses together and CHEERS to the good ole days at GBS.

David, I live in Georgia, so making meetings in person is out. How about a couple of ZOOM meetings to include us all over the globe?
