Since joining the staff at Mayo - very busy at work and involved with government and organizied medicine. Primary interest is technology in medicine. Currently, 1st Vice-President of the American Society of Anesthesiologists
Travel often to give talks, including a fair amount of international travel.
Kids have grown up too fast. Daughter just graduated from graduate school, won two Fulbright awards, spent 18 months in Tajikistan, and now works for the Commerce Department. Son is in his second year of a Masters program in Architecture at IIT in Chicago and very independent.
My wife Sandy is an Architect, concentrates her practice on residential architecture. We like to sail, travel, and enjoy our home in the country about 10 miles north of Rochester.
